This article explains how to add the full ExpertEdge library into Stud.IP so that you can open ExpertEdge courses directly inside your LMS. The setup is quick and only needs to be done once.
Overview
Stud.IP allows you to add ExpertEdge as an external application. Once added, any course can launch ExpertEdge content without downloading files or uploading packages.
There are two short steps:
- You will add the ExpertEdge application in Stud.IP
- Stud.IP will provide values that you send back to ExpertEdge
After ExpertEdge completes the connection, the application becomes active.
What you will receive
A contact from ExpertEdge will send you a short sheet containing the values Stud.IP needs to connect to the service. You will paste these into the application settings.
What Stud.IP will give you
After you add the ExpertEdge application, Stud.IP will show you a small set of details. These are created automatically by Stud.IP. You simply copy them and send them to your ExpertEdge contact.
Stud.IP normally provides:
- A unique tool ID
- A set of URLs used by Stud.IP for the connection
These appear in the tool configuration page after saving.
